Summer 2025 // Alt Rock Camp June 23, 2025 - June 27, 2025
WELCOME TO ALT ROCK CAMP!
Get ready to rock! In just five days, we'll put together a set and put on a performance. You'll get more details as your camp gets closer, but here's some general information:
ROSTERS
To ensure a high-quality, authentic experience, we ask students to commit to one instrument for the week. You're welcome to switch to any available instrument up to the start of camp; once we start rehearsing, you'll need to stick with your instrument the rest of the week. If there is enough demand, we may open more spots for this session.
SCHEDULE
This camp runs Monday - Friday on the specified dates for your session. Camp will start every day at 12:30pm and conclude at 3:30pm. We will have a brief parent meeting right at 12:30 the first day, but the rest of the week you can simply drop your child off.
DROP OFF/PICK UP
You are welcome to drop off your student as early as 12:15pm. Please plan to pick them up no later than 3:45pm. We do not allow campers to leave until the adult picking them up signs them out at the front desk. If you would like to give permission for your student to leave independently, there will be a form to sign at the school on the first day of camp.
PERFORMANCE
At the end of the week, students will put on a performance in our lobby! Invite your friends and family to the school for a show at 2:30pm on the final day of camp.
WAIVERS
All students need a completed waiver to participate in camps. If you haven't already completed yours, we can send instructions or help you sign when you arrive at the school for camp. You can complete a waiver here: https://sorstpaul.com/waiver-signingWHAT TO BRING
We have everything you need, so there is nothing you are required to provide. If you have your own guitar, bass, or drum sticks you are welcome to bring them. Please do not bring any other gear. We strongly recommend bringing a water bottle-- there is no public water fountain at the school.
HEARING PROTECTION
Hearing protection is required during rehearsal, and we will provide a pair of foam earplugs for each student. For each additional pair, $1 will be charged to your card on file. If you have your own hearing protection, you are encouraged to bring it.FOOD & ALLERGIES
We do not provide any food for campers. Many choose to bring their own snack. We have several scheduled breaks every day when students may eat their food. PLEASE LET US KNOW ASAP IF YOUR STUDENT HAS ANY ALLERGIES THAT MAY BE AFFECTED BY OTHER CAMPERS’ SNACKS, OR IF THERE ARE OTHER ACCOMMODATIONS WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT.

CANCELLATION / REFUNDS
You may cancel your camp at any time. The amount refunded depends on how far in advance you cancel:
One month or more: Full Refund
Within One Month: 50% Refund
Within Two Weeks: 25% Refund
Within Two Days: No Refund
If for any reason the camp is cancelled by the school, regardless of proximity to start date, you'll receive a full refund immediately.
