COVID-19 Protocols

SOR ST PAUL // COVID-19 PROCEDURES

The following are the school's protocols for various covid-19 scenarios. If you have questions about these procedures, please do not hesitate to contact aazrael@schoolofrock.com.

  • Student/Staff has symptoms but no confirmation: Staff/Student should be sent home immediately if in school. Staff/Student cannot return to the school for 14 days or with a negative test result taken 14 days after the first sign of symptoms. They can continue with remote lessons through that time. Communicate with all and students that were in contact with said staff/student.

  • Student/staff exposed to someone who has symptoms but no confirmation: Staff/Student cannot return to the school for 14 days or with a negative test result taken 14 days after exposure or onset of symptoms. They can continue with remote lessons through that time. If the exposure tests negative, staff/student can return. Communicate with all staff and students that were in contact with said staff/student. Follow up with test results.

  • Student/staff exposed to someone who is confirmed positive for Covid-19: Staff/Student cannot return to the school for 14 days or with a negative test result taken 14 days after the first sign of symptoms. They can continue with remote lessons through that time. Communicate with all staff and students that were in contact with said staff/student.

  • SOR student/staff confirmed positive for Covid-19: Staff/Student cannot return to the school without a negative test result. They must wait at least 14 days between a positive test result and re-testing for entry with a negative test. They can continue with remote lessons through that time. Communicate with all staff and students that were in the school. A separate email to those that were in direct contact. School will operate fully remote for 14 days to prevent possible spread. There may be opportunity to isolate and do remote for only the “pod” of exposure. A deep clean/disinfecting of the school is required in this situation prior to being able to reopen.
